If I change a model, can the setup screen stop jumping around?
Picking a model or switching accounts is a small choice. It should not make the whole setup window grow, shrink, and jump around. 0.1.160 keeps those changes contained so you can stay focused on the role you are creating.
Switching models or accounts no longer makes the role-creation screen jump around. Longer parameter sets now scroll inside their own area instead.
Previously, the new-role dialog could change height as different models, accounts, and parameter sets were selected. That meant the whole dialog could jump up and down, taking the avatar, role name, and dice controls with it.
The parameters can change without moving the whole dialog
In 0.1.160, the role-parameter area has a stable height. When there are more parameters, that area scrolls internally instead of forcing the entire dialog to reflow. The avatar, role name, and dice controls were also rearranged so the main controls stay in a more predictable place.
Compact mode still works in short windows, and narrow screens still use the vertical layout. This is not about freezing the interface at one size; it is about keeping the interaction steady across different window sizes.
The way you create roles has not changed
Random dice behavior is unchanged, and the manual role-creation flow works the same way as before. You can keep creating roles the way you already do—the screen just stops rearranging itself every time the configuration changes.
When you switch a model, account, or parameter, the role-creation screen should stay out of your way. That is what 0.1.160 changes.
