Can you keep your work when a long task runs low on disk space?
The short answer
Yes. When disk space runs low, FinchStory prioritizes saving progress already made before pausing or stopping the task as needed. Tasks that support resuming can be continued later.
Keep as much completed work as possible
Long tasks can create many files and results. If available storage gets too low, FinchStory first tries to preserve existing progress rather than continuing to use the remaining space.
Continue later when the task supports it
After addressing the storage issue, resumable tasks can pick up from their previous progress instead of requiring you to start over by default.
Projects are no longer limited by a fixed archive cap
Project content is no longer subject to the former fixed per-project archive limit. How much can actually be saved still depends on available disk space.
