Can FinchStory now generate, save, and play videos directly?

These releases complete the main Seedance video workflow: choosing how to generate, tracking progress, stopping a job, handling failure, and saving and playing the result.

The short answer

The workflow is connected. FinchStory supports text-to-video, first-frame and first/last-frame generation, output settings, progress, stop, restart reconnection, local saving, and playback. Actual generation still depends on the Volcano Engine account having access to the relevant model.

Generation settings and playback are part of one flow

You can configure text-to-video, first-frame or first/last-frame input, aspect ratio, resolution, duration, audio, and watermark options. Finished videos are saved locally and can be played directly in FinchStory.

Long-running jobs show what is happening

Video tasks show asynchronous progress, can be stopped, and report failures clearly. After an app restart, FinchStory can reconnect to unfinished work.

Actual generation still depends on model access

The FinchStory integration is complete, but provider-side access is still controlled by the Volcano Engine account. The verification account did not yet have callable video-model access at the time, so this is not described as universally available.
