When you scroll up, can new content stop pulling you back to the bottom?
The short answer
Yes. After you manually scroll up, new content and image loading are much less likely to pull the viewport back to the bottom. Images also reserve space before loading, reducing text movement when they appear.
If you scroll up, FinchStory respects that position
Once you move away from the bottom manually, incoming content no longer assumes it should force you back down.
Images reserve space before they appear
The conversation reserves a stable display area before an image finishes loading, reducing the amount of surrounding text that gets pushed around.
