I live in a small apartment. For years I tried to make it feel bigger by buying less stuff. That just made it feel empty.

Then I learned a rule: **Every item should serve a purpose or bring joy. Ideally both.**

I went through every room. If an item didn't do either, it went. And I replaced the meh items with things that actually worked.
